Yoga is a spiritual, mental and physical practice

It is a type of exercise in which you move your body into various positions in order to become more fit or flexible, to improve your breathing, and to relax your mind.

Hatha Yoga is branch of yoga that concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind.

My classes are slow, gentle and calm and are based on the Hatha Yoga tradition infused with my other trainings in Yin Yoga, Yoga for All and Yoga for Round Bodies

When you come to a class with me you will be met wherever you are in your practice. I continue to learn and grow my yoga practice through fellow teachers, students, community, books, conversations and life experiences.
